OK- so let me just tell you about this week- Its a good one.
Friday- prep for Organic style- make crazy, crystalline structure and paint it bright pink- then hang the jewelry on the structure, make labels and clean the gallery.
Saturday- Finish the set-up, make the artist's book, and have an opening from 6-9. Then its out to dinner and out for drinks with friend who came in for the opening
Sunday - WHAHOOO- the beach a major beach day! Love it
Monday- Drove to NYC- Spent the night at the Hudson Hotel- so fun- Sat in the open terrace for mojitos- so good and ten out to dinner at Sakagura, which was delicious and then walked 15 blocks back to the hotel- and then we spent way toooo much money on breakfast- good thing those eggs were amazing.
Tuesday- Drove Paul to Kennedy airport to catch a flight to Bali and then drove back to Delaware, prepped to go to a faculty meeting at Towson
Wednesday- Drove 2.5 hours to my latest idea of a job- Towson University- where I attended a faculty meeting, learned the ins and outs of the studio, and went to a delicious dinner and then drove home
Thursday- Spent the day catching up at home and in the studio and figured out how to get ready for the next 3 months- It is sad I no longer plan my life in terms of a week but months and years.
Friday- I am making commissions and preparing for my class at Towson- ordering materials and doing sketches
Shooooo- That's one crazy week over now onto the next- Labor day weekend
